October 2nd Rinpoche started the teachings with explaining the importance of practice then gave instructions on how to do the Four Arm Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) practice.

In the afternoon Rinpoche conferred the Sukhasiddhi long life empowerment with the life story of Sukhasiddhi. Rinpoche emphasized devotion and faith.

In the evening Rinpoche gave refuge vows and dharma names to people who wish to take refuge vows. Rinpoche conducted the hair cutting ceremony for every person receiving the vows.
On the second day Rinpoche coferred the empowerment of the Great Four deities practice of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu tradition. Rinpoche emphasized that receiving teachings and knowing the meaning of the empowerment is very important and regarding empowerments and just blessing is not a correct view of empowerments.

Rinpoche is currently teaching the Four Foundations of Shangpa Kagyu practice at Bong-In Sa. The teachings will end on the 7th.
